How do I purchase products?

Just follow the order prompts

  1. Select your items and add them to your cart
  2. Once you have everything you want, click the Proceed to Checkout button
  3. Fill out the requested details and click the Checkout button
  4. You will then be taken to an order confirmation page which will give you your order number and delivery time lines

How do I make a payment?

Credit & cheque cards

Credit cards are well known and a de facto online payment method the world round. We process local and international credit cards and cheque cards, with a variety of fraud protection mechanisms in place to protect sellers against costly chargebacks. Learn more.

Instant EFT

Instant EFT enables buyers to make payments with traditional internet banking with SA’s four biggest banks. The electronic funds transfer (EFT) gets verified instantly. No two day waiting period, no proof of payment required and no disclosing of financial information. Learn more.

Mobicred

Mobicred is an online account that gives buyers access to credit, which they can use on PayFast. The facility works in a similar fashion to retail store credit: only online. Sellers can choose to enable/disable mobicred on their PayFast accounts and there is no risk of default or repudiation to them. Learn more.

ATM debit cards (via Visa Electron and Maestro)

You can accept payment from Visa Electron and Maestro issued debit card holders. Buyers enter their debit card and mobile phone number and then authenticate the transaction on their phone. The system works with devices on the Vodacom or MTN network and with debit cards issued by Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank, and more. Learn more.

Masterpass

How does shipping work?

You’ll get a confirmation email with your order details immediately. Wait times may vary depending on the item you’ve purchased, but the designer will let you know when your product is on its way to you.

What are your return/exchange/refund policies?

Each store is run by the designer themselves, so each store will have its own set of policies. We encourage our designers to be as flexible as possible, but for certain items stricter policies may apply. We’d recommend you read through them before buying.

There’s a problem with the order I placed. What do I do?

Oh dear! We’re sorry to hear that. The best thing to do is to contact the designer directly through the chat functionality on each store. If you are still not getting the information that you need, please feel free to email support@hellozulu.co.za

How do I track my order?

Any orders are placed directly with the designer and Hello Zulu doesn’t produce or ship any items ourselves.

Our vendors are usually very responsive to emails and keep their customers in the loop regarding the status of their orders.

Occasionally this isn’t the case though, and when that happens, we’re happy to help you track things down and get a status update. Please email us at support@hellozulu.co.za

Is it safe to shop with you?

Since all payments happen through PayFast’s secure infrastructure, merchants needn’t worry about costly certification nor seeing, storing or securing their customers’ financial information.
